Nana

Complete copy of Boletim da Propriedade Industrial (March, 1909), which includes, on p. 73, an advertisement for "Nana". Also, memorandum from Warden to Smith (18 May): "We cannot start opposition proceedings without registering "Vana" in Portugal, and if we immediately instruct registration of our mark, and opposition to this, we of course run the risk of the exclusion of our goods from Portugal if our opposition is unsuccessful." Warden advises against registration and opposition, and suggests keeping a watchful eye "so as to be prepared for any aggressive step that may be taken by the owner of the term "Nana".
