Lettering typewritten on accompanying label: Drawing of a lung to show where bronchus is crossed at right angles by a large pulmonary vein which drains the dorsal area of the lower lobe. The area of the lung supplied by this bronchus is that middle sector in which contralateral collapse usually commences Lettering printed on label affixed to verso: This drawing and the copyright in it are reserved for the Medical history of the War. Permission must be obtained for its loan or for reproduction. Care must be taken to preserve it unsoiled and in good condition for the National Collection.
