Well done thou good and faithfull servant, thou hast been faithfull over a few things I will make thee ruler over many things. A porter carrying three rolls of cloth wears a badge of the City of London. A cat arches its back and faces a dog. A pair of clasped gloves signifies the new relationship with his master and promotion. The calendar shows Youth and Industry seizing Time with his scythe and hourglass
