Notes

Jim Rossiter has been in London since 1980 but was born in Devon. He took redundancy from the British Museum last year so has time to apply for projects. He likes the chance to do something interesting and unusual. He will be taking photographs on the plinth. He is doing the project for himself. He has sung before and once went on the stage at the Old Vic with Ian McKellan as an audience volunteer. Family, friends, vegetarianism, he also volunteers making meals for people with HIV/AIDS. He may be working on a archaeological dig in Egypt next year. He is entering wildlife photographer of the year. He hopes to make a website for his photographs. He describes himself as creative, contented and caring. Mentions a family connection to another statue in Trafalgar Sqaure.
