Description
"Report of Mr. Ring and Mr. Blair concerning the supposed failure in vaccination at Cambridge [Glos.]." Addressed to the Royal Jennerian Society, and signed by the joint authors: John Ring (1752-1821) & William Blair (1766-1822).
The Report comprises 4 ll.: it is enclosed within a Minute of the Society recording a vote of thanks to Mr. Blair, signed by Charles Murray, Secretary.

Biographical note
William Blair was surgeon to the Lock Hospital, London, and editor of the 'London Medical Review and Magazine'. [see the Dictionary of National Biography]. John Ring was also a surgeon, who practised in London from 1779. He became a friend of Edward Jenner in 1799 and was one of his strongest supporters in the cause of vaccination. [see the Dictionary of National Biography].
