Manuscript letters. Discusses Galton's new theorems concerning the probability curve and its fulfilment in anthropology. Enclosure showing the probability of a casual origin. Discusses the reasoning behind Edgeworth's papers and why his paper should be published in Proceedings of the Royal Society. Letter dated 3 December 1892 contains his paper on the theory of errors. Letters concern Edgeworth's attempts at trying to obtain his admission to the Royal Society. He encloses a list of his published papers, his curriculum vitae, and two papers.
