Notes

Sara Rebecca Burden is originally from Northamptonshire but now lives in Derbyshire. She has a tent which she has decorated with her art work and a sheet to paint. She has music to listen to and her camera. She is going to do body printing - covering herself in paint and laying on the material. She describes her style as individual but changable - it took her five years to do her art degree. She thinks the project shows how people are today but that people are changeable. She thinks the project's impact will only be seen after it is over. She thinks interaction is very important and the project gets people involved. She is doing the hour for herself but hopes the project will open up people's perceptions of art. Her son and her job and music are the most important things to her. She set up her art business with a loan from the Prince's Trust. She teaches art to adults with mental health problems; she may do an MA in art therapy. She likes to take part in group art projects.
