With an inserted leaf at the end containing a pen-drawn figure of a chemical apparatus. An incomplete MS. of a student's notes of lectures. The beginning of the first part (pp. 183-292 + 2 ll.) is missing: it is in numbered sections from 212 to 337. The next parts (pp. 293-299, 231-253) are perhaps unfinished, and are in numbered sections from 338 to 371. The date 1830 is found on p. 252 of the earlier pagination. It is possible that this MS. contains notes by another student, written somewhat later, of the same lectures as those entered for MS. 1593.
