Description
The records are basically administrative the majority being Brook's own annotated copies of minutes from FPA meetings and copies and drafts of FPA publications and policy papers. There are also records, mostly publications, of other organisations such as the Planned Parenthood Federation, USA, and the International Planned Parenthood Federation. A few items listed at the end of the collection CB18 relate to other aspects of Brook's career.

Biographical note
The papers of Caspar Brook (1920-1983) came with the FPA records from the David Owen Centre, Cardiff University and relate to the period 1968-1974 when he was director of the Family Planning Association.
