Description

Nine reports compiled as part of a review of Crichton Royal Hospital by the Organisation and Methods Division, H. M. Treasury, Scottish Branch. Reports comprise: No.1 Rearrangement of Accommodation, No.2 Works Department, No.3 Stores Organisation and Procedures, No.4 Transport Arrangements, No.5 Engineers Department, No.6 Catering Arrangements, No.7 Clerical Arrangements, No.8 Domestic Work and No.9 General Control and Management. Each report contains an overview of the service and recommendations. There is a loose copy letter enclosed in report No.1 from H. M. Treasury Organisation and Methods Division to Mr A. Campbell, Secretary and Treasurer Crichton Royal Hospital, relating to the newly built Laundry, 26 November 1959. The reports were submitted to the Board of Management in 1960 and decisions subsequently taken on which recommendations could be implemented.
