Notes

Deirdre Figueiredo comes from Birmingham. She works for Craftspace - which is a craft development organisation working with exhibitions. She is wearing an outfit from a Japanese designer maker based in the UK called Kayoto. To celebrate the act of dressmaking and show appreciation of the ingenuity of fashion designers. She is also going to unravel a knitted woollen garment she purchased from a charity shop making a pledge that she will make it in to something new - learning a new skill knitting. She is going to document her making this item - on the blog and face book.
