About this work

Description

With a nicely calculated sense of humour and of drama, Human Life reveals the activities of a range of creatures which live off, on or in the human body. The camera often takes the creature's viewpoint or shows it startlingly enlarged in comparison to normal-sized human feet etc., so that we fully experience the threat as the flea larvae emerges from the carpet and makes its way towards unsuspecting human beings. Also observed in their predatory processes are, among others, the vampire bat, bed bug and head louse as well as a range of inner-body parasites including the tapeworm, trypanosomes, blood flukes and filiarial worms.
