<p>Photograph of five women wearing long white dresses and holding small dumb-bells on stage; four women have their backs to the viewer, the fifth, Carrie Moore, us turned to look at the viewer. "The Dairymaids" was a musical farce by Paul A. Rubens (songs),  Frank E. Tours (music), Alexander M. Thompson (dialogue), Robert Courtneidge (producer and librettist) and Arthur Wimperis (lyrics). It was first produced at the Apollo Theatre in London in 1906.</p>
