Notes

Nikki Kenward comes from Shropshire. She has been diagnosed with a neurone disease some years ago and has been in a wheelchair since. She touched on her previous career as a Community Arts Director. On the plinth she will be sitting underneath a medieval type of gallows she and her husband had constructed. Her husband is now her full time carer. She performed a piece which took a strong stance against assisted suicide. She speaks at length about people being wrongfully killed in this way at clinics in Europe.
