Image of a boxfoot microscope made in the mid eighteenth century in France or the Netherlands. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (accession number R293/1949). The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A60967).
