About this work
Description
Demonstrates advances in surgical techniques that have given good results, which have been still further improved by the simultaneous use of penicillin. All the operations are conducted in a simple manner with instruments, equipment and facilities readily available in ordinary practice. The film stresses the importance of conservative treatment. Not for the faint-hearted; shows removal of finger nail to treat infection amongst others in an 'out-patient' environment.
