Creator/production credits

Baur (op. cit.) suggests that the design (which in its full version includes 24 stages), which is a reworking of a series of 12 frontal physiognomies in the 1778 publication of the 'Fragmente' is much influenced by Petrus Camper's similar designs made in the intervening years
