Lettering note
Translation of lettering: Monstrous foreign woman who came to this city in the year of 1695. She had the arm, the shoulder, the chest and part of the left side of her stomach covered in scales. She had a good face; spoke freely; and would get her hands in [or maybe work with] anything and everything that can entertain a woman. Wigged and dressed in such a way that all the defects that made her deformed were covered, her presence was enjoyable.
