Notes

Michelle Cornell was born in Canada but has lived in London since she was 10. She applied because of the title of the project; she is passionate about relational space between one and other. She found it easier to apply than to accept her place. She is not going to do anything on the plinth, she is going to stand still. She didn't sleep the night before. Her ideas about who she is doing the project for have changed - she was doing it for herself but also wants to highlight the importance of connection. She finds people commenting on the project online to be very judgemental. She sees herself as vulnerable, thoughtful and playful. Accptance is important to her right now. She fears time is moving to fast.
