Hard-covered notebook (measuring 10" x 8"). The first entry is dated "Monday 28th May '57" and the last is "Saturday 19 April '58".

Loosely inside the back cover are inserted "The Structure of Genetic Material" (notes for a lecture, four sheets, holograph), and four other unrelated sheets.
