Dated from 21 September, 1901 to 10 January, 1902. Inscribed by Dr. J. L. Todd in red ink outside the upper cover 'Mostly Filariae': there is a label on the spine: 'Dutton's notes. Gambia Malarial Expedition. Mostly Filariae. 1901.'
