Copy letter (22 June, 1926) from Burroughs Wellcome & Co to Henry Wellcome at the Arlington Hotel, Washington DC.

Letter beginning: "S. 463. Your cable of to-day's date from Washington as follows is duly received." The complete text of the cable is then given, beginning with a reference to Dr Mall's position at the Library, and continuing with urgent reference to "the Langley Court matter": "... proposed road would render premises unsuitable for present requirements or future emergencies. Be firm fear nothing employ best experts urgently study prepare our case...." The message ends: "Suspect intrigues".

Letter discovered 'buried' within unrelated material comprising WF/WPRL/01/01.
