Notes

The portraits include Hermann and Mathilde Koch (Robert's parents), Arnold and Waldemar Koch (his brother and nephew), Emmy Fratz (his first wife), as well as several of Robert himself, and one of Ferdinand Cohn. There are also photographs of various houses in which Koch lived and worked, and a facsimile of his handwriting
