On p. 253 a former owner has written in the lower margin 'le fait est véritable et a été approuvée [sic] en ma personne le 25 septembre 1799', with his signature 'Le françois firmin'. On the first leaf 'Le françois fils' has signed his name above a horoscopic figure 'pour la France et pour le roy de France 1817'.
