Creator/production credits

Edward Hawke Locker established the collection of portraits at Greenwich Hospital from 1823, the date of this print. The portraits originally hung in the Painted Hall, but are now (1996) at the National Maritime Museum, whence they were transferred c. 1933
The original of this drawing was in Locker's collection, which, with Royal donations, formed the nucleus of the portrait holdings of the Royal Naval College
