Richard Smyth comes from Wales. He is a music technology student at Cambridge University. Normally makes electronic music but on the plinth he will be playing acoustic guitar and singing. This is the first time he has done it in public. Talks about the importance of music a lot. Hopes he will aim to make a living from making music and is also starting up a night in Cambridge.
