Cuttings concerning Queen Elizabeth II's visit to Laboratorios Burroughs Wellcome do Brasil at Sao Paulo. The Queen was shown a pack of Wellcovax, the British strain of measles vaccine by Sir Michael Perrin, Chairman, Wellcome Foundation.

1973
Includes a foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) master press kit containing photographs concerning manufacturing FMD vaccines and two documents: 'The ABC of F M D' and 'World Service to Halt Foot-and-Mouth Disease Based on Wellcome "Deep Culture" Production.'

1976
Includes cuttings from O Estado de S. Paulo; Scrip; and Time and Tide regarding opening the Wellcome Foundation's new foot-and-mouth disease vaccine production unit in Brazil. An embargoed copy of the Wellcome press release and an article for the BBC External Services Central Talks and Features covering the opening are also included.
