Manuscript verses, in a neat calligraphic hand, addressed to Sloane by "C.H.", probably Charles Hopkins (1664?-1700?), listing imaginary rarities for Sloane's collection; plus manuscript notes on the poem, ascribed to the critic Edward Dowden (1843-1913), and cutting from dealer's catalogue.
