About this work
Description
Men and women who served in the 1991 Gulf War and became ill after vaccination or on return to the U.K. describe their symptoms. They were vaccinated against nerve agents, biological warfare agents, malaria, plague, anthrax and smallpox and some had violent reactions and five years later they are still ill. The Ministry of Defence disclaimed any connection between their symptoms and the vaccines. An enquiry initiated by Dr. Goran Jamal (Glasgow Southern General Hospital) indicated that the nerve agent protection vaccine was responsible.
