    INDEX-CATALOGUE OF MEDICAL AND VETERINARY ZOOLOGY SUPPLEMENT 1—Authors: A-B By Mildred A. Doss, zoologist and Judith Humphrey, assistant zoologist PREFACE Since beginning the publication of a revision of the Author Sec- tion of the Index—Catalogue of Medical and Veterinary Zoology in 1932 and its completion in 1952, no attempt was made to issue supplements or addenda. During this period of 20 years a vast number of references to the literature have been added to the card records, and this supple- ment, covering the A and B authors, represents an attempt to bring the catalogue up-to-date. It is contemplated that additional supple- ments will be issued as rapidly as time and funds permit. Each sub- sequent supplement will start with the letter A so that when the entire alphabet has been covered the references will be current as of the date of the completion of the manuscript of the last supplement. From then on it is contemplated that supplements will be issued from time to time to keep the catalogue current within limits of 2 to 3 years.
