Petition of the Board of Health in the parish of Gretna, Dumfries, requesting that the Privy Council grant an order to raise funds to prevent the spread of cholera under the 1832 Act (2.Will IV.c.11). Signed by sixteen members of the Board, with a further thirteen names appended in absentia, and some instructions for printing.
