Description
Schistosomiasis due to Schistosoma haematobium: urinary tract lesion
This intravenous urogram shows the vesico-ureteric junction. Inflammation in the lower ureter has resulted in extreme narrowing of the lumen over a length of approximately 1 cm. This has resulted in hydroureter and hydronephrosis.
