Description
Video files of film recordings made for TV and use by the Adamson Trust from the 1970s to early 1990s, copied from a DVD entitled 'Adamson Collection on Film'.
Includes the following films, menu file and copies of image art for two versions of the DVD:
'Art was my salvation'. Film essay of several paintings by Rolanda Polonsky with music and intertitles from Art as Healing (1985), made c.1990.
- 'Link'. Recording of 1984 Central TV interview with Adamson and Timlin, at Ashton Gallery and in Miriam Rothschild's wild flower garden, by Rosalie Wilkins & Bradley Borum. In connection with 1984 Marlborough Gallery exhibition and launch of Art as Healing'.
- Visit to Ashton by Cambridge Jungian Circle'. Recording by visitor in 1994.
- 'Look East'. Recording of 1991 TV interview with Adamson at Ashton.
- 'Rolanda Polonsky Sculptor'. 1971 Arts Council short, Rolanda Polonska filmed in her 25th year at Netherne, talking about her beliefs and works, most of which are in the Adamson Collection. See SA/ADC/D/3/1 for a leaflet advertising the film.
