Description
The bulk of the records relating to production were created and managed at the Wellcome Chemical Works, Dartford. However, Head Office retained a second copy of all the formulae and the chemical processes. All changes to formulae were sent to Head Office in a locked wallet for security reasons whereas Head Office chemical process books were transported to Dartford for updating.
