Description

Professor Hans Rosling explores the history of statistics, describes how they work mathemtically and how they can be used in today's computer age to see the world as it really is, not as we imagine it to be. He tells the story of the wrold in 200 countries over 200 years using 120,000 numbers in four minutes. The programme also includes examples of statistics in action today to aid police against crime and by companies such as Google to gather data.
