Biographical note

Dr James Harper started working at Crichton Royal Hospital in 1947 before becoming Physician Superintendent in 1957 until 1966. Dr Allan C. Tait started at Crichton Royal Hospital in 1953 and held the posts of Director of Clinical Research from 1954 to 1966 and then Physician Superintendent from 1966 to 1978.
