Description

Collection of notes written on loose sheets on the 'Polarity theory'. Author's holograph MS. The notes were probably made as corrections and additions to the author's Bridgewater Treatise of which a third edition was published in 1845: there had been two editions in 1834. The title of this work was 'Chemistry, Meteorology and the function of Digestion considered with reference to Natural Theology'. Produced in London.

Physical description

1 volume 53 ll. 8vo. 211/2 × 121/2 cm. Unbound, and held together by a paper band, which is secured by red sealing-wax. This is stamped with a rectangular seal-impression of a Cross inscribed above 'The Cross saves'.
