Magazine insert from 1902 advertising "Bile Beans". Printed on pink paper in green and red it shows an illustration of seated woman in the title graphics, a landsape of trees, lake and setting sun behind her, a kangaroo in the foreground. Inside we have the story (and portrait) of Mrs. Maria Binns of Sowerby Bridge who suffered from acute biliousness until she discovered Bile Beans. The beans, invented by Charles Forde, are also recommended for constipation, headache, rheumatism, influenza, colds, piles, gout, dyspepsia, flatulence and "female ailments".
