A fair copy of an earlier draft, apparently by the hand of Dr. Jean Arsène d'Arsonval [1851-1940], professor of physiology at the Collège de France.

(2) Communication verbale faite à l'Académie des Sciences 3/12/1935 sur l'Expédition de la 'Tunisie' (12 ff.). Written on the rectos only. An account of an unsuccessful expedition in the vessel 'Tunsie' to experiment with a 'Tube immersoire' for the exploration of the sea at great depths for scientific purposes, temperatures, movements of currents, etc. It was carried out off the coast of Brazil, but failed owing to the inadequacy of the apparatus for lowering and operating the device.
