About this work

Description

Parasitoid wasp The parasitoid wasps belong to a superfamily of parasitoids, laying their eggs in a host which is very often another arthropod. The hosts usually die as the larvae hatch and eat their way out or the body. These wasps can sometimes be seen as beneficial as some use hosts considered by humans to be environmental pests and so it helps to control the population. Width of image 1.5 centimetres
