Description

Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest, 3/39, 3/93, 3/113, 3/117, 3/138, 3/140, 3/206, 3/282, 3/283 munitions workers dead of tri-nitro-toluene (TNT) poisoning; 3/54 leprosy; 3/80 decomposed body of infant in box in cloakroom at Fenchurch St station; 3/89, 3/210, 3/242, 3/312 anthrax; 3/108 attempted "hari-cari" by Japanese; 3/109, 3/116, 3/151 deaths from administration of Kharsivan; 3/135 female remains unidentified recovered from Thames; 3/146 neo-salvarsan poisoning; 3/203 death from arseno-benzol injection; 3/213 Rex v W J Pedder Cut-throat murder; 3/223 arbitration in case of Godfrey and others v Gas Light and Coke Co; 3/224 mummified infant; 3/229 whether mental impairment from syphilitic encephalitis would render person incapable of making a valid will; 3/234 death secondary to carious tooth; 3/259 poisoning from rhubarb leaves; 3/268 mummified body of newborn child found up a chimney; 3/295 mummified newborn infant; 3/330 Mackintosh's Toffee and lead poisoning, prosecution under Food and Drugs Act; 3/337 "Morphine habit"
