21 August, 1907. Joseph Collett Smith, authority to procure business premises and plant machinery in the United States of America. Signed and sealed by Henry Wellcome.

19 December, 1907. George Edward Pearson, authority in respect of the registration of trade marks and copyright matters. Signed by Henry Wellcome. Together with further correspondence including memorandum (Warden to Pearson, 18 September 1908) on the reluctance of the Patent Office to accept Pearson's signature, and a subsequent letter from them (28 January, 1909) in agreement.
