Notes

Nick Botting is from Angel Islington, London. He likes the idea of the project. He is a painter and thinks that the plinth will be a good place to paint from. He thinks it is amusing to have the project in front of the National Gallery. He was tempted to do a self-portrait but decided it was impractical. He will be painting the people around the fountain. He is apprehensive about the weather and possible suggestions of vanity. He describes himself as a committed figurative painter. Family and relationships are important to him, he is a late father, his daughter is a joy to him. He won't change the painting after he leaves the plinth. He doesn't think the project will change him.
