Originally published (redacción y administración) in Basel, Switzerland by what is referred to in Spanish as: Sección cientifica de la Sociedad para la Industria Quimica en Basilea (i.e., Scientific section of CIBA). Editing (redacción) continues to take place in Basel from January 1941, but publication (administración) switches to Productos Quimicos Ciba S.A. in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Buenos Aires (administración) address is the only one given from April 1942 (no. 4) onwards.

The 'revista terapéutica mensual' is dropped from 1934 onwards.

There are 11 issues a year for 1940 and 1941, January / February being a joint issue. 9 issues in 1942 (3 joint issues - 1/2, 6/7, 11/12). 1943 is bi-monthly. 10 issues in 1944 (2 joint issues: 1/2 and 7/8). 9 issues in 1945, 1946, 1947 (3 joint issues - 1/2, 6/7, 11/12). 10 issues in 1948 (2 joint issues - 1/2 and 6/7). 1949 is bi-monthly. Quarterly from 1950 (no. 2 and 3 being a joint issue in 1951).
