Description

Demonstrations in histology. Author's holograph MS. Illustrated with a few pen and pencil drawings. In the introduction the author says 'The object of this course of demonstrations...is to explain and to give...the opportunity of studying the minute structure of those organs of which the Physiology will be treated in Mr. Stewart's lectures'. The reference here is to Charles Stewart, M.R.C.S., LL.D., F.R.S. [1840-1907], at that time Curator of the Museum at St. Thomas's Hospital, and later Conservator of the Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Produced in London.
