About this work

Description

One of several designs for press advertisements used by the Health Education Authority from September to November 1992. This one was aimed specifically at heterosexuals and was used in a wide selection of places and accompanies others aimed at gay men in the gay press. The advertisements all promote safer sex, and better use of condoms and lubricants in the fight against AIDS and HIV. Details of the National AIDS Helpline are given. This one shows 4 images of a couple progressing from a dance club to the throws of sexual ecstasy in bed back at home.
