Description
The British Pavilion, organised by the Department of Overseas Trade, was not able to afford space to an exhibition about medicine. The WHMM co-operated with the French authorities to mount exhibits in the Palais de la Decouverte, placing objects in the sections for chemistry, physics, medicine and surgery. In addition, an exhibit specifically about the history of medicine was mounted. PJ J-S liaised with the French organisers to despatch objects from the WHMM collection,
