Notes

Sarah McCluskey is from Bath. Her outfit is based on Brittania; but a melancholic, wasted Brittania because that's how she feels the country is. Her partner has struggled recently trying to set up a business, he now works as a driving instructor. She has followed Gormley and the Fourth Plinth projects. She works part-time for Barnardo's and has worked in children's services for many years. She is going to try and have fun and engage the audience playing truth or dare. She has brought a gramaphone and some records, she has also brought a megaphone, she will sing happy birthday to her partner. She and her partner go to a lot of burlesque events, she recently compered her first burlesque evening. She thinks burlesque is very empowering for women. Describes herself as very personable, she enjoys finding out about people. She is doing the project for herself.
