Notes

Dave Chittenden comes from Kilbride in Scotland. A member of the UK hippy group who have gatherings around the country. Talks about an alternative lifestyle, camping and feeling closer to nature. He was very interested in the recent furore about nudity on the plinth and had made himself a fantastic lower torso/groin sculpture made of papier mache and painted to look like ageing broze in the manner of the Crosby beach figures, so when he put it on he looked like a nude. He stood still, turning occasionally to face different sides of the square.
