Description

Taxus baccata (English Yew). Coniferous tree from which Taxol (paclitaxel) is extracted. Taxol is an anti-neoplastic drug which has been used to treat ovarian and breast cancer. It was first discovered in the Pacific yew (Taxus brevifolia).
